Hanumantal police bust kiln producing country liquor

Hanumantal police busted the kiln of producing country-made liquor and seized 60-litre country-made liquor and 64 quarters, raw materials and equipment used for production of country-made liquor in Sindhi Camp area, on Monday. Police have arrested a man involved in operating illegal kiln and his mother managed to escape from the spot. The arrested has been identified as Abhishek alias Golu Chakrawarty (25), resident of Sindhi Camp, Hanumantal while his mother Sunita Chakrawarty is still at large after the raid. CSP, Gohalpur, Devesh Kumar Pathak informed that, acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SHO of Hanumantal police station, R K Soni and his team raided a house situated in Sindhi Camp area. Witnessing the police team, a boy and a woman started running away from the spot, but police team managed to arrest the boy, but woman managed to escape from the spot.
 
In the raid, police team seized four containers filled with illegal stock of country-made liquor measuring around 60-litres and 64 quarters of country-made liquor. Police have seized Mahua and Lahan filled in five drums, LPG cylinder, stove and other materials used in the kiln. Hanumantal police have registered a case under sections 34(2) and 45 of the Excise Act, while a search is underway for Sunita Chakrawarty.
