Lifetime achievement award to Dr Kayande

Association of Coaching Institutions (ACI) is formed last year to bring the transperancy in coaching sector, bring all good institutions on common platform and to serve all deprived students free of charge. ACI confers ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ to dignitaries in education sector of Nagpur who selflessly worked for upliftment of Nagpur students. This year the award is given to renowned Mathematician of the city - Dr Anil Kayande.
Dr Kayande has given all of Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) and Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO) qualifiers of Nagpur City. This is a very big achievement as nobody likes to do it for the competency required with neglible commercial value. Usually RMO qualifiers stand in first 400 students of India and INMO qualifiers stand in first 30 students of India.
Had Dr Kayande not taken this grueling task to train students for toughest Mathematics exam, Nagpur students would not have the opportunity to prove their mettle. Today, his students are in top positions in India and abroad. He served as Professor of Mathematics in University of Rhode Island, USA; University of Alberta, Canada, and University of Ife, Nigeria. He came back to India. After serving NCERT for brief period, he came to Nagpur and served as Principal of Ramdeobaba and Kamla Nehru College of Engineeing. During his tenure, Ramdeobaba achieved its glory. Along with ACI members, the gathering was addressed by renowned speaker Dr Sumant Tekade. He enlightened ACI members about the importance of Association, organisation skills of Shivaji Maharaj.
