“Seeing the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress leaders are in frustration and are making derogatory statements even on the martyrdom and sacrifice of our soldiers,” said BJP State President Rakesh Singh here on Friday. Singh, giving his reactions on the statement of Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda who is also advisor to Congress President Rahul Gandhi, said that Congress leaders are passing such remarks to ensure their political existence.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s advisor Sam Pitroda, in s tweet on Friday, had mentioned the Pulwama terror attack and airstrike by the Indian Air Force. “I do not know about Pulwama terror attack, such attacks are part of forces. Such attack had also occurred in Mumbai and we could have reacted by sending our aircrafts for attack but this was not the real way.”

BJP State President and MP Rakesh Singh said that the citizens of the entire nation know about Pulwama terror attack in which nation lost more than 40 jawans and citizens will always remember the sacrifice of these jawans. “In such a situation, the Congress leader’s statement that he does not know much about it and such incidents occur often, is dishonor of the martyrdom of jawans and the Indian Air Force. Singh said that the citizens know well that country’s self-respect and its borders can remain safe only under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Attacking the statement by Sam Pitroda, Singh said that making off the collar statements and then disowning them is the tradition and strategy of Congress and so far Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Digvijay Singh, B K Hariprasad, P Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal and other leaders have made derogatory remarks on Army and soldiers. And all the time the Congress organisation has shrugged off saying that it was the leaders’ personal opinion.
