Man buys fake notes of Rs 1.5L in 40K, arrested

Ahead of Lok Sabha polls, a man who bought fake notes of Rs 1.5 lakh in Rs 40,000 in Bhind district was nabbed by Sehore police from village Shyampur on Wednesday. Sehore police received tip-off that a young man is trying to encash fake currency near Sadabhar Dhaba near Navodaya School. As the information was received from a reliable source, a police team was made which reach Sadabhar Dhaba and nabbed a suspicious man.
 
During interrogation the arrested man identified as Ravi alias Ravindra Dangi, 27, son of Kalyan Singh Dangi, a resident of village Bhal Bomra in Vidhisha. He later confessed that he is currently living in Bhopal. Police found 29 fake notes of 2,000 and 4 notes of Rs 500. During interrogation accused confessed that he works as a property dealer in Bhopal. He met Sujeet who also lives in Bhopal around 5 months back. Sujeet told him that we can get fake currency notes from Bhind district.
 
To earn money through shortcut Ravi accompanied Sujeet to Bhind and brought Rs 1.5 lakh notes by paying mere Rs 40,000. Later he spent 30,000 to 40,000 at petrol pumps, wine shops and at crowded places. He tore some notes as they have lost their colour. Arrested accused Ravindra Dangi is basically a resident of Vidisha district, who is absconding in several cases of Bhopal in the crime scene, in which cases of tampering, rioting and theft are involved.
