Six ICADians get KVPY fellowship awards

Continuing the legacy of ICADians, six students of ICAD secured fellowship award of Kishor Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2018. It must be noted that in first phase 7 ICAD students have qualified initial written round of KVPY.
 
The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an ongoing programme started by the Department of Science and Technology, to encourage students of Basic Sciences, Engineering and Medicine to take up research careers in these areas. Students who clear KVPY are eligible for direct admission in IISC, IISER, IIT-Hyderabad etc. Ameya Prabhune who secured AIR-442 in JEE-Advanced, Pranjal Warade (International Mathematics Olympiad Silver Medalist), Prathamesh Patil who scored 242 marks in JEE-2018 got admission in IISC through their performance in KVPY.
