Abhilasha tops distt merit list of class X

Breaking the myth about sub-standard education being imparted in Government schools, Abhilasha Dubey topped the District-level merit list of Class X Board Examination-2019. The student of Government MLB Girl’s HS School scored 97.2 percent marks with cent percent marks in Mathematics.

She obtained 99 percent in Science, 97 in Sanskrit, 96 in Social Science, 94 in Hindi and 92 in English. Abhilasha was expecting the same result whatever she scored as she gave her best with all sincerity and determination. Through the year, she refrained from joining any coaching classes and decided for self-study at home.

She credited her parents Abha Dubey and Ashish Dubey and especially her grandfather G S Dubey, for the outstanding results she scored. “My grandfather, himself a retired teacher, is equally credited for my achievements. He along with my mother, spent sleepless nights throughout my examination, helping me in clearing my doubts and in revision. Abhilasha strongly believes that there is no shortcut to achieving success. “I studied from the first day of my class as I never rely on tomorrow. My school teachers were extremely supportive and consistently motivated me and helped me in studies. She is determined to pursue Mathematics in her future studies and wants to serve her country as an IAS officer.
