CM met Adani officials in New Delhi alleges Amit Jogi

Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi) State President Amit Jogi has alleged that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had allegedly held a closed door meeting with Rajesh Adani, brother of Gautam Adani, Chairman Adani Group in the presence of Vinay Prakash Goyal Vice President (Corporate) Adani Group and Vaibhav Alsi, Chhattisgarh In charge of Adani Group on June 14. Addressing a press conference on Sunday at his residence office, Amit Jogi asked the Chief Minister to make public the information related to who all had met him at Chief Minister’s suite in Chhattisgarh Sadan on June 14 from 6pm till 8pm.
 
He also asked the Chief Minister to furnish the details of discussions held as its in the interest of the state. Amit Jogi said Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was on a two day visit to New Delhi, where he held meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attended the NITI Ayog meeting and subsequently met several Union Ministers as well. Later in the evening on June 14 between 6pm to 8pm, the Chief Minister held a closed door meeting with Rajesh Adani and officials of Adani group. Amit Jogi alleged that there was consent on four matters.
 
Amit Jogi alleged that Chhattisgarh Pollution Conservation Board on February 12, 2019 had issued ‘Consent to Establish’ certificate for Deposit-13 (Nandaraj Parvat) in Kirandul to NMDC-CMDC Limited (NCL), of which, the Chief Minister has appointed himself as its Director and where the Contract of Excavation and Mine Development is awarded to Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) to work as Mine Developer-Cum-Operator (MDO). During the meeting with Adani group officials, talks were held to facilitate the same, alleged Jogi.
 
Amit Jogi further alleged that public hearing is due for two coal blocks at Gare Palma no-2, allocated to Maharashtra Power General Company Ltd (MAHAGENCO) at Raigarh, for which AEL is likely to be appointed as MDO, talks were held allegedly o facilitate the same.Amit Jogi further alleged that two coal blocks allocated to Chhattisgarh State Power General Company Ltd at Gidhmuri and Pituriya, for which AEL is being appointed MDO, talks were held to facilitate this also.Jogi alleged. BALCO, in which, the Chhattisgarh government has its stake, has been allocated Chotiya coal block for which AEL is again likely to be appointed as MDO, talks were reportedly held during the meeting to facilitate the same.
