Bhanot promises no new tax in State budget

Promising no new tax in coming budget of the State Government as well reforms and measures to enhance Government’s income, the Minister of Finance, Planning, Statistics, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Tarun Bhanot said that previous government had taken huge loan but failed in utilising it for the purpose. The substandard works of maintenance, development and uneven policies of previous government have put extra financial pressure on State. Without giving dent to the pocket of general public by levying any new tax in coming budget the income of State would be increased.
 
There are measures that could have initiated in past also like planning for optimum utilisation of State assets. Development of tourism facilities like White Tiger Safari in Jabalpur, sops for new investors, betterment of education and hospital facilities, etc. The Congress Government is functioning smoothly. Using strength of public mandate and it would continue to serve people of Madhya Pradesh with transparency, honesty and devotion under the leadership of Chief Minister Kamal Nath. Congress government has initiated fulfilling its promises made to public of MP.
 
During the visit of All India Congress Committee President, Rahul Gandhi to Vidhan Sabha elections the promise made to surrender agricultural loan of farmers. In first phase prior to Lok Sabha elections agricultural loan of around eligible 20 lakh farmers was waived off. For rest 28 lakh farmers, soon second phase of Jai Kisan Rin Mafi Yojna (agriculture loan waiver scheme) would be initiated. Finance Minister Bhanot further said that State Government is focused on ensured deliverance of benefits of good governance to needy people through expansion of social welfare schemes, basic amenities for all. He further informed about the decision taken by Government for optimising employment generation through industrial growth. He further mentioned decisions taken by Government for enhancing standard of education, medical, transportation, infrastructure development.
 
He added that in every municipal corporation running schools would be given best education facilities like private schools are offering to its students. While sufficient funds have been planned in budget for first Dairy College of the State as well as Second Super Specialty Dental College of the State in Jabalpur. He also highlighted the decisions taken in Cabinet Meeting of the State organised in Jabalpur and informed about initiation of its implementation. Replying to a query about the ongoing issue of electricity supply and distribution hazels causing trouble for citizen, Finance Minister Bhanot said that ongoing disturbance is the result of sub-standard maintenance material supplied during previous government. The power production is optimum and no shortcoming is reported in previous days. The power cuts in past six months in past six months in Congress government regime are much lower than power distribution issues came in last six months of previous government.
