In an attempt to encourage kids, the Nagpur Itwari Kirana Merchants Association recently conducted a special event. On the occasion, the association feliciated wards of its employees and associate workers working in shops of the members. The event was aimed at deve;loping interst for studies among the sons and daughters of the associate workers and employees for their betterment and encouraging them for higher studies. The association also distributied merit scholarship among the meritorious students. The event was held at Kirana Bhavan, Maskasath, Itwari. Bhawarlal Jain, President of the Association was the chief guest of the programme.
Harish Krishnani, Past President, was also present as guest. Shiv Pratap Singh, Secretary of the Association briefed about the initiatives of the association in his opening address. He appreciated the efforts of the patrons, including Gopal Daga, Harish Fulwani, Pramod Kumar Sedani, Chandumal Amamesar, Ashok Wadhwani, Divesh Thakkar, Jagdish Basrani for the initiative. In his address Jain said, “If goal is set and their is willingness for hard work, success is sure.” He urged the students to work with hard work and dedication. He also appreciated the efforts of workers attached to grocery business for giving education to their sons and daughetrs dispite of financial and other challenges. Harish Krishnani, also appreciated the good work of the students.
“There is an increase in the number of meritorious students, year after year. It’s a good sign,” he said. Students from class 5 to class 12 were given cash prizes and educational materials. Total 33 students were feleiciated on the occasion. The meritorious students of class 12 were also awarded with medals and three students were also given mobile set. Prakashchand Goyal, Kalpesh Mehta, Ashok Wadhwani, Divesh Thakkar, Mohammad Ashraf, Jagdish Basrani, Chandumal Amesar, Sandeep Jain, Pankaj Chabariya, Ram Ramkhiyani, Sachin Gulati were prominently present. Ashok Wadhwani, Harish Fulwani and Pramod Kumar Sedani worked hard for the success of the event.
