Proper learning methodology is key to success: IAS topper Sawan Kumar

ASPIRANTS of UPSC must not pay attention to those who say UPSC exam is difficult to crack, said Sawan Kumar, who cleared the prestigious India Administrative Services (IAS) exam conducted by UPSC in 2018. He got AIR 89. Sawan Kumar was speaking as a key note speaker at ‘Toppers Talk’ organised by PNS Acadamy here here recently. Prominently present on the occasion were Vijay Wadittewar, Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislature; Atul Londe, MPCC Spoke Person; Shivani Wadittewar, Shyam Bokde, Founder of PNS Academy.
 
Adding further Sawan Kumar said, “Aspirants must develop skills of solving new problems apart from reading books, while preparing for the prelims. No one can guess what type of question will appear in the exam. Study of main and optional subject is important,” he said. Sawan Kumar also said that study material of PNS Academy and guidance of Shyam Bokade, were very helpful for him during his mains and personal interview. Shyam Bokade said, “Competitive exams are very easy.
 
One who masters the art of solving problems will get success . It is more important to know what to avoid reading, than what to read. It is important to understand the pattern of examination,” Bokade said. Giving his success mantra Bokade also noted that read less but revise more. Commenting on ‘Why PNS Academy?’, Bokade explained, PNS emphasis more on mains.
