BAI, Nagpur Chapter elects new office-bearers

Anil Nair elected as Chairman, Prashant Wasade, Secretary and Purshottam Harde, Treasurer 
 
The recently conducted annual general meeting (AGM) of the Builders Association of India (BAI), Nagpur Chapter unanimously elected Anil Nair as Chairman, Prashant Wasade as Secretary and Purushottam Harde as Treasurer, Rahul Zade as Vice-President, Ashok Sahadadpuri as Vice Chairman, and K J George as General Council Member from patron category. Amar Bawa and Pradeep Nagrare as General Council Member and Manohar Wadhwani as Internal Auditor.
 
The executive committee members are Jaiprakash Khushlani, P J Sachani, Pramod Barai, Purushottam Rohera, Rajesh Chhabrani, Rajkumar Gurbaxani, S K Banerjee, Sanjay Gupta and Tarminder Singh Bhatia. It was decided in the meeting to go for a membership drive and strengthen the organisation by involving all the segments within the real estate industry. The membership is open to all and invites people who are either in construction contractor, engineer, architect, engineering colleges/polytechnic, manufacturer, dealer, hirer in construction material/equipment, repairs and rehabilitation contractor, real estate developer, consultant, interior decorator, service providers, or those who have interest in real estate and associated with different services or infrastructural development.
 
There was need for updation with new notifications and regulations with all inputs from the doyens of the industry. The new committee have appealed to interested people to call on mobile number 9372922204 for further enquiries related to membership. The committee also took a decision to conduct a Goods and Services Tax workshop on September 14, 2019 to keep the members aware of the recent amendments in GST rules and issues related to transition period from Service Tax to GST. The event will be organised at Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth and workshop will be followed by a panel discussion with authorities. Prashant Wasade appealed all to get involved in the membership drive to strengthen the organisation.
