The Monsoon Art Mela-2019 being held at Art Gallery of Guru Ghasidas Museum Raipur.

The Monsoon Art Mela- 2019 by ‘The Creative Spark’, a group of art and culture, has begun at the Art Gallery of Guru Ghasidas Museum, Raipur on Friday. Eminent artist Bijay Biswaal inaugurated the exhibition. Deputy Director General of GSI Raipur Durga Rao and eminent rangoli artist Pramod Sahu were present as special invitees. With a brief introduction about ‘The Creative Spark group’ Tapan Moharana has introduced the guest to the audience and convened the meeting.
He told about the conglomeration of 42 artists with 150 different flavored paintings from all over India and more than 600 artists are being associated with them. Bijay Biswaal praised all the participants and encouraged the artists as well as the visitors with a live demonstration of his famous painting series of ‘Wet Platform’ and Odissi dance painting.
The paintings of Tapan Moharana, Sneha Bhaumik, Sumon Naskar, Biswaranjan Sahoo, Jayashree Jena, Dr. Sreeja Roy, Kinjal Chowdury, Bhritashree Buragohain, Nirmal Thakur, Minakshee Verma, Khushi Singh, Sneha Verma, Soumyaranjan Pattanaik, Sneha Haldar, Swapnil Sunil Kardile has got wide spread acclamations by the audience. The artists were felicitated by the guests with memento and certificates. The exhibition will conclude on Sunday. Suman Naskar proposed a vote of thanks.
