CM Kamal Nath offers prayers to Lord Mahakal’s fifth ‘Savari’

Chief Minister Kamal Nath, on Monday, reached Ujjain and performed puja-archana of the fifth Savari of Lord Mahakal and shouldered the savari to move forward. He prayed to Lord Mahakal for the welfare of the State. CM Nath reached Ujjain on Monday afternoon and attended the fifth savari of Lord Mahakalat the scheduled time and offered prayers according to the rituals.
 
After that he shouldered the savari of Lord Mahakal following which the savari moved on for the city. Minister incharge of Ujjain district Sajjan Singh Verma, Public Relations Minister P C Sharma, Sports, Youth Welfare and Higher Education Minister Jitu Patwari also took part in the puja-archana which was performed by priest Ghanshyam Sharma. Among those present on the occasion were MLA Ramlal Malviya, Dilip Gurjar, Mahesh Parmar, Murli Morwal, former MLA Rajendra Bharti, former minister Babulal Malviya, District Panchayat President Karan Kumaria, senior officers of the division and district besides devotees in a large number.
