Tourism Minister Baghel urges Patel to include Mandu in World Heritage

Minister for Tourism, Surendra Singh Baghel took part in the National Conference of Tourism Ministers of States, organised by the Union Tourism Ministry in New Delhi on Tuesday. Baghel informed the Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) Prahalad Patel about the ongoing tourism projects, activities and facilities in Madhya Pradesh.Minister Baghel urged him to get the historical tourism site Mandavgarh (Mandu) of the State included in the World Heritage list of UNESCO.
 
He presented a dossier on Mandu to Prahalad Patel. Baghel also held discussions on various issues of tourism development in the State. The Union Minister of State Patel lauded the ongoing tourism activities in State. He gave assurance for full cooperation to promote tourism in State. Secretary Toursim Faiz Ahmed Qidwai and senior officers were present
