‘Retd bank employees should give ideas for banking sector growth’

State Bank of India, Hingna Industrial Estate Branch Reunion Group organised a meeting of members who were retired from the branch. The participants shared the old memories, while they were working at the Branch. A S Rao, former DGM chaired the meeting. He narrated his experience and challenges faced during his tenure at the Branch. He congratulated the organisers for the creative idea of reunion of any branch or office. Although it is very common in school and colleges. He said, “Retired bank employees should think for the growth of banking sector.”
Chief guest Pakkala Kalidasu, Chief Manager of the Branch also admitted the important role of Hingna Industrial Estate Branch in the present set up of the organisation which was deeply rooted in the glorious past of the branch. Glowing tributes were paid to employees who left heavenly abode. One of the staff Subrato Mukharjee who was a customer of the Branch subsequently joined as Clerk and promoted as Trainee Officer and now holds the position of Branch Manager.
The programme was compered by J A Deshpande and Chandrakant Garge proposed the vote of thanks. The core committee members J B Deshpande, Mohan Khedkar, Amar Kolhatkar, B S Phadke, G Vijaysampath, Chandrakant Garge and J A Deshpande worked hard for the programme, informs a press release by Anand Shrivastava.
