Shripad Vaidya has over 100 records, including 10 Guinness World Records, to his credit.

With this motto, Shripad Vaidya, an environmentalist and lawyer by profession, attempted and pocketed over 100 world records till date. Vaidya’s latest feat is in coin stacking for which he entered his name in Limca Book of Records. In 2009, Vaidya set his first official Limca record as an innovator of 53 eco-innovations after his 16 years of activities related to environment-friendly promotion, research and development. This year, he completed 100 entries to the record books.
His records have always remained related to topics concerning fundamental human needs including water, food, nature, energy, sporting challenges and innovation. Vaidya has been selected for ‘Who’s Who in the World 2019’ publication in America. The publication mentioned Vaidya as the world’s first all-rounder record-holder in field of environment human development. “I have invented number of new sports which are now part of sports encyclopaedia,” said Adv Vaidya while sharing his success story with ‘The Hitavada’. “Every person is best and unique in his or her way and record making can become a way to find out that hidden best,” he added.

In 2012, Vaidya established his first official Guinness World Record by stretching 82 rubber bands over his face in a minute. Vaidya major achievements includes 10 Guinness World Record, over 40 Limca Book of Records, six India Book of Records, 30 Unique World Records and many others. For these achievements, Vaidya also received many awards like Bharat Gaurav Award, Best Citizen of India Award, Bharat Jyoti Puraskar, Vishesh Sewa Sanmaan and Who’s Who in the World.
