CM Nath assures full support to investors setting up industries

Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said that there should be real industrial investment in Madhya Pradesh and the State Government is working with the idea that the State will benefit from it. He said that instead of entering into an agreement for the sake of it, industries should be set up on the land and work will be carried out in a planned manner to provide employment to the people of the State. The Chief Minister said that whosoever invests in the State with this intention will be provided with full facilities and support by the Government. Nath was addressing the CII Leadership Conclave organised at Indore on Saturday. Public Works Minister Sajjan Singh Verma, Higher Education Minister Jitu Patwari, Urban Development and Housing Minister Jaivardhan Singh were present at the conclave.
 
Chief Minister Nath said that Magnificent MP Investor Summit is being organised in Indore in October to encourage industrial investment. The government is concerned about the economic progress of the state and serious efforts are being made in this direction. We aim to provide employment to the youth on a large scale. For this, whatever investment will come in the state, full facilities and co-operation will be provided by the State Government.
 
The Chief Minister said that today new technology is changing the lifestyle of people. People working in the field of industry and business have to be prepared according to the new technology. Nath said that 70 per cent population of the state is dependent on agriculture. By strengthening the agricultural sector financially, a large population can be made self-sufficient. He said that there is a need to engage modern farming techniques in our state instead of traditional farming methods.
 
He said that for this we are encouraging the establishment of horticulture and agro-based food processing units in the state. He appealed to the people working in the field of industry and business in Madhya Pradesh to work as brand ambassadors to attract investment. The Chief Minister interacted directly with the industrialists present on the occasion and addressed their queries. The programme was addressed by Managing Director and CEO of Bajaj Finserv Sanjeev Bajaj, Chairman of CII Madhya Pradesh Chapter Praveen Agrawal and former Chairman Anshul Mittal.
