Mandideep, airport, Pithampur to be included in Metro Project

CM Kamal Nath gives directives to Board of Directors of Metro Rail Project 
 
Chief Minister Kamal Nath has directed officials to include Mandideep, Bhopal Airport and Pithampur Industrial Area of Indore in Bhopal and Indore Metro Project. These directives were given by Kamal Nath in a meeting of the Board of Directors of Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Limited Company held at Mantralaya. The Minister for Public Works Department, Sajjan Singh Verma and Minister for Urban Development and Housing Jaivardhan Singh were present at the meeting. The Chief Minister said that the Metro Rail should be completed soon by reducing its stipulated time frame.
 
He instructed to re-examine the period of construction process in this regard. Nath said that the construction work should be carried out simultaneously, so that the project is completed soon and the people of Indore and Bhopal could avail its benefit at the earliest. The Chief Minister said to take benefit of Metro project experience and the procedure adopted in Delhi in the Bhopal-Indore project. Use the technique adopted there.
 
This will accelerate speed of our work and we will be able to come up with solutions in advance of the obstacles that came up at the time of construction of the Delhi Metro. The Chief Secretary, S R Mohanty, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary (Public Works) Malay Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) Mohammad Suleman, Principal Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Sanjay Dubey, Commissioner of Urban Development P Narhari, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Company Swatantra Kumar Singh and concerned officials were present in the meeting.
