Vivekanand Co-operetive Society declares 11 per cent dividend

VIVEKANAND Nagari Sahakari Pratyay Sanstha, one of the leading co-operative society, recently conducted its 50th annual general meeting. The meeting was held at Late Divakarrao Dhakras Memorial Hall. Rishikesh Mahashabde, Chairman of the Society; Vivek Jugade, Vice-Chairman and directors of the society were present on the dais.
 
The meeting began with paying condolence to the departed national leaders and former directors of the society Babanrao Badiye and Bachhu Vyavhare. Vivek Jugade, read the last years financial report, while Rishikesh Mahashabde presented the budget for the coming financial year before the members, which was approved by voice majority by all members. He also appreciated the efforts of all members and board of directors for the excellent work done by them. Mahashabde declared 11 per cent dividend to its members, which is a record for the society.
 
He said, “The work of the society and its members in social and economic sector is remarkable. Due to which the society was progressing day by day. Even the directors of the society are donating the honorarium they receive to social organisation, which also appreciable.” Vivekanand Co-operative has deposit to the tune of Rs 63 crore, against which the society has disbursed Rs 40 crore advances. The society has earned 95 lakhs profit and has got ‘A’ certificate from the auditors. The society has also several records to its credits. They has opened two new branches at Hudkeshwar and Pratap Nagar. Sudhir Daftari, Chandrakant Lakhe, Mahesh Andhare, Ravindra Bharat, Anil Dev, Kalyan Dewan, Ishwar Parchake, Shreekant Aglawe, Madhu Gour, Vrinda Risaldar, Megha Nirmalkar were also present at the meeting.
