MP wins 10 coveted National Tourism Awards

MADHYA Pradesh Tourism bagged 10 outstanding National Tourism Awards in a grand ceremony organised ar Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The glittering award ceremony was held to mark World Tourism Day on Friday. Vice-President sVenkaiah Naidu presented National Awards to MP Tourism for maintaining high standards and performing outstanding in different segments of the sector. In this grand ceremony, Union Tourism and Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, UN World Tourism Organisation, Secretary General, Zorab Pololikashvili graced the occasion. Madhya Pradesh State, Tourism Secretary, Faiz Ahmed Kidwai received the awards on the occasion.
Madhya Pradesh has bagged prestigious awards in 10 important categories including Best Adventure State, Excellence in Publication in Foreign Languages, Chinese Brochure, Best Tourism Promotion Publicity Material, Lonely Planet Pocket Guide, Best Monument- Buddhist Monument-Sanchi, Best Wild Life Guide Manoj Kumar Panna, Best Heritage City-Orchha, Best Airport Indore-Swachhata Award Indore, Best Tourist Transport Operator, Radiant Travel, Best Heritage Hotel Classic Devbag Gwalior.
