For the purpose of making all Central Excise and Service Tax payers aware of the Sabka Vishwas Legacy (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme 2019 and with the help and guidance of them, GST Bhavan, Telangkhedi Road, Civil Lines on September 5 at 4 pm in Sabka Vishwas Legacy (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Planning 2019-Education, Support and Guidance programme is being organised. All taxpayers are invited to participate in the programme on behalf of the Department for tax dispute related to the preceding Central Excise and Service Tax.
Sabka Vishwas Legacy (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme 2019, proposed in the Union Budget 2019-20, for the purpose of quick resolution of tax disputes relating to the preceding Central Excise and Service Tax and to provide relief and encouragement to the enterprise and business. Under this scheme, taxpayers can be exempted from their tax liability by paying only 30 to 40 per cent of the amount of pending tax dispute related to the earlier Central Excise and Service Tax. This scheme provides enormous convenience and concessions to the taxpayers of the old tax system. In order to communicate directly with taxpayers in accordance with the spirit of the scheme and to address their doubts, Dy Commissioner and Asstt Commissioner, CGST and Central Excise Nagpur-1 and Nagpur-II will be present. Pramod Kumar Agarwal, Principal Comm, Nagpur-I and Sanjay Rathi, Comm- Nagpur II have taxpayers to attend the programme.
