DMC fines SBI, BoB for littering

Under Swachh Sarvekshan 2020 along with organising massive cleanliness drive the Durg Municipal Corporation (DMC) is also collecting fine for littering. In this regard the DMC squad collected Rs 1000 to State Bank of India (SBI) as fine for littering as the bank employee had thrown the waste collected from the bank on the road.
DMC also collected Rs 1,000 from Bank of Baroda (BoB) as fine the bank employee had thrown the waste of the bank in the drain.

The DMC team has appealed the Bank Management to collect the waste collected from the bank in dustbin and hand it over to the garbage collection rickshaw.
 
Here it needs a mention that Commissioner, Indrajit Barman for keeping the city clean is appealing the people as well as imposing fine to those littering. Under this the team collected Rs 500 as fine from Ankush Medical Brahman Para, Rs 200 from Pank Kiosk and Rs 500 from Grocery Shop at Mararpara Ward for using banned plastic disposals, Rs 2,000 from Lokesh Traders at Gayanagar for dumping building materials on road and others. The DMC team comprises of Chief Sanitary Inspector, Jasweer Singh Bhuwal, Sanitary Inspector, Mensingh, Daroga, Pratap Soni, Bhupendra Goier, Madu Malai, Sanjay Mishra and sanitary supervisors.
