Miscreant open fire at jewellery shop

Panic created in Barela market when unidentified person opened fire on a jewellery shop under the jurisdiction of Barela police station, on Friday night. The incident took place when the market was crowded with customers and residents were frightened with the loud noise of firing bullet. One of the suspects has been identified as Ajju Patel, a resident of Bilwara village in Barela who is a notorious criminal and earlier involved in several sensitive crime incidents.

SHO of Barela police station, Sushil Kumar Chouhan informed that receiving the information of a firing incident he along with police team reached the spot and found that two unidentified men riding on a motorcycle arrived and one of them fired a bullet on Neha Jewellers. In the firing, a glass of the jewellery shop was broken and the miscreants managed to escape from the spot. He informed that the police have obtained CCTV footages of the firing incident and identified one of the suspected men as Ajju Patel and started a rigorous search to arrest the accused. of Neha Jewellery Shop, Barela police have registered a case under Section 307 of the IPC and Section 25/27 of Arms Act and started a search for the accused. The firing incident was followed by agitation of businessmen and residents and a large number of persons were gathered on the spot and staged demonstration against the police department. They charged the law and order arrangements and demanded to soon apprehend the accused otherwise they will stage massive protest against the police department.
