RTMNU convocation today

In all 64,993 students of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University will be awarded degrees during the 107th Convocation, at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Sabhagruha, Reshimbag, at 10.30 am on January 18. Chief Justice of India Sharad Bobde will deliver the Convocation address. Vice-Chancellor Dr S P Kane will preside over.
Dr Shreehari Chava will be honoured with the highest academic degree of D Litt in Commerce and Management faculty.

One hundred meritorious students will be given 158 gold medals, 9 silver medals and 18 prizes.
Ayushi Sanjay Khandelwal is the winners of highest seven gold medals. She was MBA student of Dr Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research, Nagpur. Sayali Sandip Bhave, BALLB student of the University’s Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Law College, Main Branch, has bagged six gold and a prize. Sakharam Ganpat Mandpe, a MA in Dr Ambedkar Thoughts student of the University is also winner of six gold medals.
 
Four students are at number three position - Madhuri Narayan Ghuguskar, M Ed from the University’s Department of Education with five gold medals; Rachna Prakash Kanoujiya, M Sc (Chemistry) from the University’s Department, with four gold and a silver; Bharati Dnyaneshwar Shastri, MA (Marathi) from Madhukar Wasnik PWS College with four gold and a prize, and Mrunal Manoj Khobragade, Bachelor in Journalism from the University’s Department with three gold and two prizes. Jyoti Wadhwa will get a special prize instituted by Dr Vitthalrao Jibhkate for acquiring PhD at the age of 66 years.
