A team of Excise Department nabbed a man engaged in illegal trade and transportation of liquor and seized 300 quarters illegal stock of liquor from him in Shahpura South Circle. The accused has been identified as Randhava Prajapati, son of Ganga Ram Prajapati, resident of Baroda village.
 
It may be noted that under the direction of Collector, Bharat Yadav, Excise Department started a special campaign against liquor mafia under the supervision of Assistant Excise Commissioner, S N Dubey. Excise Control Room, in-charge, G L Maravi informed that continuing the special campaign, they received information about a suspected man in Shahpura South(A) Circle at Baroda village. Taking prompt action on the information, a team started search and nabbed the suspected man named Randhava Prajapati. In his search, Excise team seized 300 quarters illegal stock of liquor.
 
District Excise Department has registered a case under Section 34(2) of Madhya Pradesh Excise Act 1915 (Amended Act 2000) and sent the accused on 14-days judicial remand. The accused was arrested with active working of team comprised of Assistant District Excise Officer, G D Lahoria, Chief Inspector, Narendra Singh Uike, Suresh Gautam, Ramesh Kushram and Constable, Rakesh Jadon.
