KOHIMA :
JUST a month back, we saw how parts of Himachal Pradesh looked straight out of a Disney movie after the temperature hit -0.6 degree Celcius. Popular tourists destinations including Manali, Solang, Dharamshala, and Shimla were covered with a bed of fresh snow.
It was a breathtaking sight! However, North-East India has been gripped by severe cold waves and after 37 years, Nagaland has received snowfall and has truly turned into a winter lover’s paradise! According to a news report, snowfall occurred in Tuensang, Kiphire, Zunheboto, Phek, Kohima and Peren as temperature hit below 3-degree Celcius. According to ‘India Today’, people on the internet have been sharing pictures and videos of snowfall in Luvishe and Shamator village, and Dzokou Valley in Nagaland and it is remarkable.
