Power plants Birsinghpur Pali, Sarni awarded for excellence

Officers presenting a trophy to representative of power plant on the occasion of Republic Day.

Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) thermal power plants Birsinghpur Pali and Sarni were awarded for best performance on the occasion of Republic Day. Cash prize and running shields were presented to the winners by Madhya Pradesh Eastern Region Power Distribution Company’s (MPERPDCL) Managing Director V Kiran Gopal and Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company and Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company’s PAR Bende.

For best performance, MPPGCL’s power plants were awarded for earning good name at national level continuing the tradition. Best Power Complex Award was presented to Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Station (SGTPS) Birsinghpur Pali. Cash prize worth Rs 3 lakh and running shield was handed over to Additional Chief Engineer (Addl CE) K P Pandey.

In addition to this, for best quality augmentation SGTPC was also awarded cash prize Rs 2 lakh and running shield which was received by Assistant Engineer (AE) Abhishek Singh. Rani Awanti Bai Hydel Power Plants, Bargi Nagar, was also awarded cash prize worth Rs 1 lakh and running shield for best performance in 2018-19. The award was received by Superintending Engineer P C Mishra. For best fire brigade service, Best Fire Brigade Award was bagged by Satpura Thermal Power Station Sarni (STPS) for year 2018-19. Cash prize worth Rs 10,000 and a running shield was presented. Fire Brigade Officer R K Yadav received the shield and prize.
