Bank of India Fetri branch gives Rs 64.40 lakh to 50 SHGs

The main objectice of the bank behind the initiative was to help women self help groups to expand their business activities
Under its ambitious programme called - ‘Har Ghar Dastak’, the Bank of India (BOI), Fetri branch recentluy has disbursed loan to the tune of Rs 64.40 lakh to 50 women self help groups (WSHGs).

Te main objectice of the bank behind the initiative was to help women self help groups to expand their business activities, says a press released issued here.
 
This was also a step towards women empowerment by helping them.
The bank officers gave the loan sanction letters of the beneficieries at a function held in presence of Vilas Parate, Zonal Manager, Premkumar Gupta, Deputy Zonal Manager, Kiran Kove, Block Development Officer (BDO).
The programme was held at BMPT Complex Fetri. Basesh Sharma, Manager BOI - Fetri branch welcomed the guests.
Also present on the occasion were Ravindra Parteki, District Mission Manager, Ravikumar Dhakne, Group Manager, Sapna Walkonde, Vigilance and Valuation Officer (MSRLM), Nirmala Jadhav and members of the women self help group in large numbers.
 
With the launch of innovative consumer connect program known as “Ghar Ghar Dastak”, the bank of India has been generating more business leads under RAM (Retail, Agriculture and MSMEs) schemes.
