Wadi police have booked a youth for duping a woman to the tune of Rs 3.42 lakh in land deal. According to police, victim Revati Kantarao Patnayak Hani (42), a resident of Flat No 54, Devi Travels, District - Vijay Nagar, Andhra Pradesh, booked a plot at Kanak Nagari -1 in Katol tehsil in year 2017. She had given Rs 3.42 lakh to the company’s agent Ayush Khobragade (22), a resident of Plot No 2, Nari Road, Sugat Nagar. Instead of submitting the amount in the company, the accused pocketed the money. After realising the fraud, the woman approached the police and lodged a complaint. Wadi police have registered the case under Sections 420 and 406 of IPC.
