THE Nagpur Centre of The Indian Institute of Architects (AII) will be organising its 23rd edition from January 10, informed Ar Paramjit Ahuja, Chairman, IIA Nagpur while talking to media during a press conference on Wednesday. He added, the exposition will be inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways of India and Shipping Ministry of MSME on January 10, at 1 pm in the august presence of Ulhas Debadwar, Chief Engineer, PWD Region Nagpur and Ar Sunil Degwekar, National Treasurer, IIA.
The exhibition will remain open from January 10 to January 13 from 11 am to 9 pm at Ladies Club Ground, Civil Lines. Sujit Rodge, Convenor of Rachana 2020 said that Rachana is best known for its excellence presents a unique forum for manufacturers, processors, exporters, dealers, suppliers, vis-a-vis for designers, builders, developers and even to buyers and end users; to catch up on the most up-to-date knowledge on various goods and products, services, systems, automation, and very latest innovative designs and technologies etc.
Rachana is where the construction and allied sectors converge. There will be total 90 stalls of various size showcasing latest of all that is required for building and interior decoration. In this edition, Rachana 2020 will also bring to city a national level exhibition of short listed entries of IIA National Awards for Excellence in Architecture. “It is an appeal to the visitors to avail this opportunity to witness selected works of architects from all over in India”, said Ar Parikshit Choudhari. Ar Sunil Degwekar added that the exhibition has become an signature event for all the people to upgrade themselves. Also present was Ar Raviraj Sarwate and members of IIA Nagpur Chapter.
