To pay tributes to COVID-19 warriors, a fashion show Mr/Miss/Mrs India Queen & King 2020 was organised recently by SK Stars Sonia Khatana and Sandeep Goswami with limited attendance and due precautions amid the pandemic in New Delhi. City girl Diksha Rahulkar was adjudged the second runner-up in the Miss India Queen category, which saw participants from many States. The participants were judged by a jury of eminent personalities based on two rounds, first was the western look round and the other was the couple round. “I had an inclination for modelling from my school days and would admire models on TV and would dream of stepping in their shoes one day.

I would try to learn the little nuances of ramp walk from YouTube and would strive hard to make myself presentable on stage and polish my personality,” said the 26-year-old lovely lass. This first win has surely raised her confidence level, who is motivated by ace model Malaika Arora and is hopeful of meeting her. Her close friend Komal Kapoor is the force behind her win, who constantly encourages her to do her best in all spheres of life. Her family is also her support system, standing strong with her dreams of making it big. Diksha follows a strict routine of exercise and maintains a balanced diet.

“I want to pursue modelling and acting as a career option and I am fascinated by the ‘City of Dreams’ Mumbai and would certainly try my luck. I would also like to see myself as a supermodel and aspire to become a known face in the television industry,” affirms the lady. Diksha still has many more miles to go, but a determined attitude to make it big in life will surely take her places!
