ALTOGETHER 110 units of timber logs were recovered from three different places in an action of forest department in past three days and a man was arrested in this connection. A total of 63 logs were recovered from pickup vans and 47 wooden logs were recovered from a house in Jhadipur village. The accused has been identified as Imanuel Minj, a resident of Jhadipur village.
 
 
The action was taken under the directions Udaipur Ranger Sapna Mukherjee and SDO S N Mishra. As per information, forest department is continuously taking action against supply of precious wooden logs. Forest officials are patrolling in night hours to trace the miscreants involved in this illegal trade. On October 25, Premnagar forest officials recovered 37 wood logs from a pick-up near Parvatipur village. On October 26, departmental officials were tipped-off about a pick-up loaded with wooden logs at Pandopara. Forest officials reached the spot and recovered logs.
 
 
They also arrested pick-up driver Imanuel Minj. Udaipur Ranger Sapna Mukherjee said that Minj was interrogated and on his inputs, 47 logs were recovered from his residence in village Jhadipur. Girish Bahadur Singh, Shashikant Singh, Dhaneshwar Singh, Rishi Kumar, Rajesh Rajwade and Gajraj driver Deepak Kumar were part of the action.
