MPSLSA holds Legal Service Day programme at office

Legal Service Day was observed under the guidance of Justice Sanjay Yadav, Patron-in-Chief and Executive Chairman, MP State Legal Services Authority in Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority office and all District Legal Services Authorities, on Monday.
The Legal Services Day is observed every year on November 9 as the Legal Services Authorities Act 1987 was enacted on this date. Under this Act, Legal Service Institutes have been set up across the Country to provide legal services along with organizing camps and Lok Adalat especially for the needy and marginalized sections of the society.
A brief programme was organized in the State Legal Services Authority while following the covid-19 protocol. In the said programme, the activities organized in the last year and the results achieved were discussed and the target activities to be undertaken in the coming year were also discussed ensuring that benefit of Legal Service Schemes reaches to needy persons in every corner of society. Further, discussions were also held regarding the smooth and effective organization of Lok Adalat to be held on December 12, 2020 while adhering COVID 19 guidelines. Giribala Singh Member-Secretary, D.K. Singh, Additional Secretary, Arvind Shrivastava Deputy Secretary, Zeeshan Khan and Jeetendra Mohan Dhurve DLAOs along with other Officers and employees of MP SLSA were present.
