Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated ‘Janjati Gaurav Diwas’ to commemorate the freedom fighter Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary, on Monday. The programme was organised at Birsa Munda Chowk, Adhartal.
Speaking on the occasion, RSS Prant Pracharak, Praveen Gupta informed about the contribution of freedom fighter belonged to tribal community, Birsa Munda who inculcated the spirit of protecting water, forest, land, animal and people amongst tribal people. He encouraged the tribal people towards patriotism and protection of natural resources to accord the people of tribal community with the mainstream of development.
Earlier, Prant Pracharak, Praveen Gupta, along with Prakash Singh Uike, Dr Pradeep Dubey, Dr Pawan Sthapak, B S Pendram, Head of Janjati Samaj and Amrut Singh Balre garlanded the statue of Birsa Munda and encouraged the people of tribal community and residents to take inspiration form his life for development in life and development of the nation.
