Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna honoured five policemen for their dedicated working and rescue of injured from spot of the accident in Chargavan to save their lives. Five policemen of Chargavan police station including ASI, Santosh Sen, LR Patel, Constables, Ashok, Rajesh and Ankit were honoured with letters of appreciation and cash reward of Rs. 500 each.
 
SP Bahuguna has applauded the dedicated working of ASI and constables and stated that the policemen have set an example of humanity. The dedicated policemen of Chargava police station include ASI, Santosh Sen, LR Patel, Constables, Ashok, Rajesh and Ankit with the help of local villagers lifted the injured on their backs due to lack of stretchers and took them to the casualty.
 
It may be noted that ASI, Santosh Sen had sustained bullet injury on his right shoulder in a shoot-out while arresting an absconding criminal Pawan Yadav during his posting in Narsinghpur district in year 2006 since then his right arm is not working properly.
