CBI, ACB, SP Prashant Kumar Pande being conferred with the President’s Police Medal at the hands of NSA, Ajit Doval.

Superintendent of Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau, CBI Jabalpur, Prashant Kumar Pande was conferred with the prestigious President’s Police Medal for his meritorious services. He was awarded during during the investiture ceremony in New Delhi, on Wednesday.
The programme was organised on the occasion of International Anti Corruption Day. Chief guest on the occasion was Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor while Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Union Home Secretary and Rishi Kumar Shukla, Director, CBI. SP, CBI, ACB Jabalpur, SP, Prakash Kumar Pande, amongst 34 CBI medalists, was honoured with the President’s Police Medal for his distinguished services as recognition of his unblemished, devoted and dedicated services for more than 35-years.
He is accredited to solve major scams of Fodder Scam and Bitumen Scam in Bihar. He has served in Anti Corruption Branches of CBI in several states. Prior to joining in Jabalpur as SP and Head of Branch in 2016, he worked in Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi and Patna. In early 2020, for a brief period of six months, he functioned as SP and Head of CBI ACB Nagpur Branch also. Besides this, he shouldered the responsibility as additional charge as Head of CBI ACB Chhattisgarh in Raipur Branch in year 2017-18.
