CM releases helpline no 1064 to report graft cases

The Chief Minister also dedicated official websites of Anti-Corruption Bureau and Economic Offences Investigation Wing 
 
To mark the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel issued Helpline No – 1064 and WhatsApp No 8827461064 for making online complaints regarding economic irregularities and corruption cases. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also dedicated official websites of Anti Corruption Bureau and Economic Offences Investigation Wing. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel dedicated the official websites of Anti-Corruption Bureau and Economic Offences Investigation Wing: www.acbeow.cg.gov.in. This will be the first website in State which has been created in Chhattisgarhi language.
 
Any person wanting to register complaints regarding any kind of economic irregularities or against cases of corruption can also seek information regarding action taken against the complaint. He also launched Helpline No 1064 and Whatsapp No 8827461064, wherein, people can register online complaints. For raising awareness among people against corruption, the Chief Minister also released a poster, which will be displayed in all Government offices so that people can online register complaints regarding any kind of corruption or financial irregularities. To mark the occasion, the officials and employees of Anti-Corruption Bureau and Economic Offences Wing deposited Rs 1.25 lakh in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that now information about the actions taken by EOW and ACB against economic irregularities and corruption would be easily accessible through the website.
 
People would be able to register their complaints about corruption online. This important step would tighten the administrative works as well. Taking bribe, giving bribe, acquiring assets disproportionate to the known sources of income, misusing one’s designation to embezzle government property, etc comes under criminal offense. Any complaint regarding these aforementioned offenses can be filed via helpline number 1064, Whatsapp number 8827461064 or website www.acbeow.cg.gov.in or on email id complaintacbeow@gmail.com. Present on the occasion were Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, ACS (Home) Subrat Sahoo, Secretary Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Secretary (Urban Administration) Alarmelmangai D, DIG and Director EOW and ACB Shaikh Arif Husen, along with senior officials of EOW and Anti Corruption Bureau were present.
