Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Uday Borwanker paid a sudden visit to Guna-Bina track on Wednesday. He inspected the crossing gates, rail bridges, tracks, OHE line, signal system and safety provisions. During his visit, DRM Borwanker checked capacity of equipment and maintenance. He also discussed passengers’ facility, food stalls, reservation office, booking office, waiting hall, toilets, platform and cleanliness in circulating areas with the officials concerned. He also interacted with the employees regarding their grievances and directed the department concerned to resolve issues on priority basis.

 

He also discussed progress report and future planning for Guna-Pilighat double railway line with officials of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RNVL). RNVL officials informed his that double line work of 20 km from Ruthiyai to Guna has been completed. They said Guna to Pilighat 19 km of double lime will be completed by this month. Pilighat to Ashok Nagar 26 km of railway double line construction has been already completed while 74 km double lime from Ashok Nagar to Bina is on progress.
