A school authority was threatened with life through email in Hudco, Bhilai. After the complaint, police registered the offence and are further investigating the matter.

 

Police sources informed that in his complaint Prashant Kumar, the Deputy Zonal Director, DAV Public School, Hudco, Bhilai stated that in the recently received two emails on his official id, he was threatened with life by the unidentified

person. He stated in his complaint that the email from unidentified person read that a sniper was already hired to gun down him soon and that he should spent time with the family members.

 

The victim school authority also facilitated police with email id, used for sending threatening-emails. After complaint Bhilai Nagar police registered the offence against unidentified accused under section 507 of Indian Penal Code.

Prashant Kumar, the victim school authority told the newspaper that it is the strange development as he never have had any enmity with anyone.

 

He said that he has received two threatening emails and he filed the police complaint in the matter.

 

Vijay Kumar, Station House Officer, Bhilai Nagar Police Station informed that the police have already registered the offence and the police are investigating the matter in co-ordination with the cyber cell.
