All the Sub-Registrar Offices in city will remain open on remaining Saturdays this month, that is, on December 12, December 19, and December 26.

 

Ashok Ughade, Joint District Registrar (Class-1) and District Collector of Stamps, issued a letter in this regard to all Sub-Registrar Officers (Class-2) in city. As per the letter, there is increase in number of visitors in these offices for registration of deeds, due to stamp duty rebate announced by State Government till December 31.

 

Though the number of applicants/parties to these offices has increased, CREDAI has pointed out problems with Integrated Stamp and Registration Information Technology Application (I-SARITA), which is used for registration of documents. CREDAI has also urged the Joint District Registrar (Class-1) to keep the Sub-Registrar Offices open on all three remaining Saturdays of this month.

 

Accordingly, Ughade issued the letter to all Sub-Registrar Offices in city.
