Punjab National Bank, Circle office, Nagpur organised mega loan free camp. It was organised under the guidance of Alok Goel, General Manager, Mumbai. He also conducted PNB Loan Point, Branch MCC visit, meeting of agriculture officers, branch heads meeting etc. Goel informed the officials about the new guidelines framed by the head office. He said, upto December 31, on the upfront/processing fees, documentation process, there is complete waiver. This information should be passed on to the customers.
The officials should create awareness about it so that customers can take optimum benefit of it. While addressing the agriculture officers meeting, he said, efforts should be put to increase the penetration level of banking services in rural areas. They should conduct meetings in rural areas to create awareness about the services of the bank. B P Rao, Circle Head of Punjab National Bank, Nagpur said, in various branches of the bank, rural meetings are being conducted since October 2, 2020. This has helped the bank to connect with people in rural areas.
There are various social safety schemes like Atal Pension Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana etc. They also explained in detail about the digital banking. Farmers were distributed agriculture loan so that take good yield. Manoj Ray, Assistant General Manager, Circle, Harvinder Singh, Assistant General Manager MCC Branch, Nagendra Kumar Gupta, Chief Manager, Mohit Lad, Chief Manager PNB Loan Point, branch heads and senior officials of the bank were present on the occasion.
