CM Chouhan transfers Rs 100 crore into accounts of five lakh farmers

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that speculations about closure of mandis and support price system are misleading and untrue. Farmers should not pay attention to such speculations. Families occupying one or two acres of agricultural land in State since 50 years will be given pattas. Online arrangements will be made soon for all land related records. He was addressing the gathering in Nasrullaganj of Sehore district after transferring Rs 100 crore of the Mukhya Mantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana into the accounts of five lakh farmers by a single click on Thursday.
 
CM held a discussion with farmers on agricultural laws which was welcomed and supported by them. Farmers expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with loud applause. CM said that these laws will bring a revolutionary change in the life of lakhs of farmers in State.
 
CM said that now farmers will have freedom to sell their produce anywhere. Speculations of closure of mandis are misleading and utter nonsense. He said that farmers are being misguided that support price system will be discontinued. “As long as I am alive, support price system will not be discontinued,” he asserted. He added that copies related to farming etc. will now be available online and invitation by the revenue board management system for appearing in revenue courts including mutation will be made online.
