State President of BJP V D Sharma accused Congress party of misguiding and provoking farmers on the farm laws. Defending the new farm laws, he told that new agriculture related laws made by Centre are in the interest of farmers. The provision of new laws is to double income of farmers and for their prosperity. He said that Central Government has reiterated many a times that minimum support price (MSP) is in force and will continue but Congress is regularly misguiding farmers for its vested interests.

Other BJP leaders were also present in the training camp. Later, V D Sharma spoke to media and told that during training programme, party workers got answers to their queries such as why they work in BJP, to which ideology they work, how Dr Shyama Prasad Mukerjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Raj Mata Vijaya Raje Scindia and Atal Behari Vajpayee groomed party workers, how BJP led Centre and State Government is working to uplift standard of poor people’s life. Targeting Congress, he said that Congress people are suffering from colonial era mentality and always remain busy in creating instability in country. “The farmers’ agitation originated from Punjab is inspired by Congress leadership.

Country’s farmer understands everything. Union Agriculture Minister and Union Home Minister are regularly trying to remove confusion of farmers and shortly amicable solution of problem will be out,” he told.
