‘Socio-war film ‘The Battle of Bhima Koregaon’ will clear misconceptions’

In an attempt to remove misconceptions with regard to the historic Bhima Koregaon incident, Producer - Director Ramesh Thete is coming up with a film titled ‘The Battle of Bhima Koregaon’. Thete believes that the film will bring the real history before the audiences and also succeeds in creating harmony in the society.

 

Thete has done in-depth research work so that today's generation could get first hand information of the Bhima Koregaon. “The socio-war film is based on the then social issues, incidents of atrocities and the feeling of hatred prevailing at that point in time,” he told The Hitavada.

 

It will highlight the incidents between 1795 and 1818. Well Known Bollywood stars like Arjun Rampal, Digangana, Sunny Leone, Ashok Samarth, Milind Gunaji and Abhimanyu Singh have played roles in the film. The film is all set to hit the silver screen very soon. It will be released in multiplexes. Apart from this, the producer is also planning to release the story of the historic film on OTT platform. Ramesh Thete said that besides highlighting the truth, he is also committed to create opportunities for the local deserving artists.

 

It is important to note that Ramesh Thete’s head office is located at Manish Nagar in the city. Apart from this, he also has offices in Mumbai and Bhopal.
