CHHATTISGARH Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) has extended support to national level farmer’s organisation call for ‘Bharat Bandh’ on December 8. In a meeting organised virtually, CCCI President Jain Jitendra Barlota, General Secretary Lalchand Gulwani, Treasurer Prakesh Agrawal along with Spokesperson duo Lalit Jaisingh and Yogesh Agrawal said that the support was extended to the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee and Chhattisgarh Kisan Mazdoor Mahasangh for their call to support Bharat Bandh and Chhattisgarh Bandh on Tuesday. CCCI office-bearers said that total business establishments will remain close in the state till 2pm during the bandh. The statewide meeting was attended by office bearers of all CCCI district units, unit presidents, vice presidents, secretaries and others.
All office bearers have assured of supporting the nation-wide and Chhattisgarh bandh. CCCI President Jain Jitendra Barlota said that essential items like milk, vegetables and pharmacies will remain out of the purview of bandh. State General Secretary of Confederation of All India Traders, Chhattisgarh Chapter Jitendra Doshi said that CAIT convened a meeting of its local office bearers and members, and it was unanimously decided to extend support to the call given by the farmer organisations to observes Bharat Bandh on Tuesday.
