Says party will touch new heights in State
Former Chief Minister Uma Bharti told that people are feeling duped as Congress Government has not fulfilled the promises made to them. Law and order situation has hit the lowest ebb. “What could be worse situation that even murders are happening close to police stations, she told. She even claimed that BJP by remaining in Opposition will make Congress Government helpless to fulfill the promises made to people. She gave above statement after blessing the newly-appointed BJP State President Vishnu Dutt Sharma at BJP office in State capital on Tuesday.
She had applied ‘tilak’ on the forehead of V D Sharma. Going retrospective, she stated that when BJP was in Opposition for a longer period, it fought the battle of people to get justice for them. BJP ensured that decisions are made in the larger interests of people and state. Showering praise on newly-appointed BJP State President Sharma, she told that BJP has always put organisation above self. The workers of party have great capacity and energy. She said that Vishnu Dutt Sharma has all the necessary qualities to deal with the state government. He is a leader with wide support.
He comes from background of ABVP which is known for doing struggle and movements. She told that she came to congratulate to newly appointed state president. She hoped that under the leadership of new state president, party will touch new heights in state and will return to power once again. Notably, it was a few days back when BJP national leadership named Vishnu Dutt Sharma as new State President in Madhya Pradesh by replacing incumbent Rakesh Singh under whose leadership BJP lost State Assembly elections but made a clean sweep in Lok Sabha elections respectively.
