“Though I am brought up in family of Satish Chaturvedi, a stalwart in politics, I never had any ambition. Chief of Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray gave me a task which I have completed. Now I shall not leave any stone unturned to fulfill his work, try to resolve the issues of people of my constituency,” said Dushyant Chaturvedi, who won Yavatmal State Legislature bypoll whose result was declared on Tuesday. Chaturvedi paid a courtesy visit to ‘The Hitavada’ office immediately after arriving from Yavatmal.

Chaturvedi pointed out, “I express my gratitude towards Minister Sanjay Rathod who supported me during my election campaign. Most of the political pundits though had predicted my victory, I fought battle in my own way. Every senior leader of Sena enquired about my preparation, offered their help. It gave me boost and raised the confidence also.” A soft spoken Dushyant Chaturvedi who always works in a silent manner and keeps low profile feels Sena is a bit weak in East Vidarbha and in some parts of Western region. He expressed his willingness to work to strengthen the party in these parts of Vidarbha. Earlier Rajendra Purohit, Managing Director, ‘The Hitavada’ welcomed him by offering bouquet.
