Workers of Akhil Bharatiya Pulak Jan Chetna Manch and Rashtriya Jain Mahila Jagruti Manch, Bhagwan Mahaveer Ward, held a programme at Pt Bachcharaj Vyas Chowk, mahal, on Monday to creat awareness about playing eco-friendly holi, saving water and applying ‘tilak’ gulal to protect environment. The programme was part of events organised by 500 branches all over the country at the inspiration of Acharya Shri Pulaksagar Gurudeo for protection of environment, keeping health sound, conservating water, safety from Coronavirus, avoiding Chinese colours etc.
The awareness programme began in presence of Mohan Mate, MLA, Manoj Band, National Working President of Pulak Manch Pariwar, and Dr Richa Jain. On the occasion, workers distributed 500 herbal gulal packs and pamphlets. Ramesh Udapurkar conducted the programme while Naresh Machale proposed a vote of thanks. Kulbhushan Dahale, Amol Bhusari, Atul Mahatme, Suraj Jain Pendhari, Shashikant Banait, Shantinath Bhange, Nitin Rohne, Vijay Kapse, Vinod Shravane, Dilip Sawalkar, Chhaya Udapurkar, Swati Mahatme, Sunanda Machale, Vaijayanti Kapse and others were present.
Gandhisagar Udyan Kalyankari Sanstha On behalf of Gandhisagar Ganeshpeth Yognrutya Pariwar, women celebrated ‘Fulotsava’ holi at Kahugalli parking, Gandhisagar to mark holi festival. Meena Bhute, Yognrutya Chief, and Rajesh Kumbhalkar, President of Gandhisagar Udyan Sanstha, took initiative in organising the programme. Harshala Sable, Shraddha Pathak, both Corporators, Neeraja Patil, Manoj Sable, former Corporator, and S Sabhare, NMC Ewngineering were the guests of honour. Vijaya Diwe, Anita Telang, Madhuri Kote, Suvarna Pal, Madhuri Thawkar, Darshana Raut, Nanda Deshmukh, Kavita Gadgilkar, Madhuri Kumbhalkar andothers were present.
Patanjali Yog Samiti The members celebrated Holi Milan at Sant Dnyaneshwar garden, Dattatraya Nagar, on Monday morning. Namdeo Fating, Senior Yog Teacher, Shankar Godbole, Dr Jivesh Panchbhai and Nilima Khobragade applied gulal and offered ‘gaathi’, followed by others. Padmakar Agarkar, Dilip Kamble, Dr Vitthal Tajne, Ashok Bandane, Shriram Duragkar, Baburao Junghare, Gulab Umathe, Santosh rokde, Sudhakar Sharma, Suresh Dhunde, Rukma Ladke and others worked hard.
