NAG Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC), an apex body of traders has convened an emergency meeting on Saturday. While talking to the members, Ashwin Mehadia, President of NVCC appreciated the efforts of Government for closing malls, gym, swimming pools and multiplex in Mumbai, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Thane and Nagpur as a precautionary measure to prevent people from Corona virus (COVID-19). Government has also imposed ban on assembling of people. Mehadia said, “Government measures are sufficient to prevent the traders and common people from the pandemic of Corona virus. Now its our duty to support the Government.”
Mehadia appealed to traders that while doing business at their respective establishments, they should take proper care of hygiene, cleanliness and maintain a virus-free atmosphere among the staff. “We should also visit public places and make the people aware about the cleanliness habits and preventive measures. By awareness and preventive measures, we can prevent ourselves from the Corona virus,” he advised. Also present were Arjundas Ahuja and Sanjay Agrawal, vice-presidents; Ramavtar Totla, Secretary; Sachin Punyani, Treasurer; Swapnil Ahirkar and Shabbar Shakir, joint secretaries and Rajubhai Makhija, PRO.
