Panchagavya Ayurveda Chikitsa helps build immunity: Dr Chakraborty

“Panchagavya Ayurved Chikitsa based on daily use of cow milk, curd, cow ghee, cow dung and Gomutra has tremendous potential to build immunity to fight against the epidemic and pandemic diseases,” claimed Dr Tapan Chakraborty, former Director of National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference at the premises of Go-Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Kamdhenu Bhavan in Mahal, Dr Chakraborty said, “Go-Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Deolapar is conducting scientific research since last 25 years on the use of Panchagavya in daily life, in pooja rituals, in agriculture and in medicines. The centre is working with different scientific research institutions across the country to promote traditional science in modern scientific format.
The centre has acquired patent on Kamdhenu Gomutra Ark prepared from the cow urine of healthy Indian cows. The research on Kamdhenu Gomutra Ark was conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) by Dr S P Khanuja and Dr M P Darokar. The research has got international patent and CSIR has proved its positive effects in the treatment of diseases like Chikun Gunia, Swine Flu, Dengue etc.” Vaidya Nandini Bhojraj, Joint Secretary of Go-Vigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Deolapar termed the present pandemic of COVID-19 as ‘Janpadodhwansa’ in terms of Ayurveda.
She said, “ Swasthasya Swasthya Rakshanam, Aturasya Vikar Prashamanamcha’ means in Indian traditional medical system like Ayurveda the aim is to protect health of a healthy person and relieve a person from a disease. The cause of pandemic or epedemics is not following the traditional lifestyle according to Indian system. Even WHO had warned that during 2015-2020 all antibiotics in the world would be ineffective. Following the traditional health care system could save the humanity. There are many scientific studies published in international journals have proved that Indian system of rituals, lifestyle, eating habits etc. could be the solution for future to treat diseases.”
Sunil Mansinghka advocated that Goumutra Ark could increase immunity by 104 percent. Burning cow dung, cow ghee also could help in environmental purification. “There are number of research papers published in many journals which have proved the efficacy of Cow Urine and cow based products in immunomodulation, DNA Repair, Apoptosis, Antimicrobial, Antifungal and Antioxident effects of these products,” Mansinghka claimed. President of Govigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Dr Hemant Jambhekar; Treasurer, Sanatkumar Gupta; Dr Sanjay Wate and others were also present at the press conference.
